Free Bridal Session Winner & A Thank You to Paula Deen!

Sunday I attended the Hopkinsville Bridal Show. I had brides sign my guestbook to win a FREE bridal session! The winner is:

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth. I enjoyed meeting each one of you and hearing about your weddings. :)

On Monday, I wrote about my cooking experiences. Yesterday, I cooked the best chicken and bacon meal EVER. And, I have Paula Deen to thank for it. I told Rick that if I could pick my last meal, this would be it. I wanted to share it with you all because it’s that amazing! And so easy! :) Let me know if you try it and how much you liked it. Because, lets face it, you’re going to love it! :)

Ingredients

1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
1 (1 pound) package sliced bacon
2/3 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix brown sugar and chili powder. Cover the chicken with the mixture. Place chicken in a baking ban. Lay strips of bacon on the chicken. (You might want to cut the bacon. I didn’t do that, but should have made them smaller pieces. I also had way more bacon left over, so I just fried the leftover bacon and we had more bacon on the side! haha! So, if you don’t like bacon that much, just use less bacon. ;) But who doesn’t like bacon!?!) Then bake for 40-45 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. :)
