On Saturday, my two sisters, mom, niece and I went shopping… for nine and a half hours! It was insane, crowded, and awesome. We all made a dent in our Christmas lists, and I only have three more items to purchase before Christmas.
On Sunday, Rick & I watched Snow White and The Huntsman. I was skeptical, only because of all the hype that surrounded the movie when it came out, but wow, it was really, really good. I loved the way it was made, and especially the storyline. Then, we went out to eat, and just spent the rest of the evening being very lazy.
This weekend was a weekend of memories. It wasn’t about shopping, but rather the moments of laughter in between. It wasn’t about eating out or watching a movie, it was about hearing Tupelo Honey on the radio for the first time while holding Rick’s hand. It was about feeling so loved that you can’t believe this is your life. And I made a note in my head to always, always remember those moments.
