Bethany Ann Photography – Nashville, Tennessee Wedding & Portrait Photographer » Southern Weddings & Portraits

Recently, I made a list of photo shoots that I need to post on here, and ran across Hannah’s Bridal Session. That’s when I realized I never even posted teasers of Hannah’s session! So sad! We took these images the week of her wedding. (Or was it the week before, Hannah?) I’m not sure, but I know it was very close to her wedding and even though the images wouldn’t be finished by then, she wanted to have a bridal session anyway to document this time in her life. I thought that was so neat! How often can you document such a wonderful time in your life in a wedding dress? Not very often. ;) Cue the Bridal (or Day After or Trash The Dress) session.

We took these images on a family friend’s farm where her reception was held. This session was great! Hannah wanted something different, yet still bridal. I’m so glad she picked me to take these images for her. The farm scene was perfect, and meaningful to the whole family. Hannah’s mom grew up right down the road from the farm! We explored different areas of the farm, which was great for me since I love going to new places for photo shoots. We even took some photos on a bridge that Hannah’s mom loved to play on as a child!

Hannah’s dress was stunning! She looked radiant and so, so happy. She looked just as stunning on her wedding day, too. (Just see for yourself on the video above!) Hannah even brought a bouquet similar to her wedding bouquet, which is always a nice touch if you have a bridal session. Thank you so much, Hannah, for allowing me to take these images of you right before you became a Mrs. :) I hope you are enjoying married life!

“And that is a snake.”

As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I knew I might have just freaked Amanda & Jason out. Then I just laughed and said, “Well, more like a worm-sized-snake.” They laughed, too, and kept on walking behind me. It didn’t phase them that a worm-sized-snake slithered right by my foot as we were walking to another location on our photo shoot.

And that’s what I love about them. They are easy going and up-for-anything kind of people. And by up-for-anything, I mean up for small snakes who slither around our ankles!

We met up for their engagement photos at Port Royal on a hot summer day and I had a great time getting to know their love story. They were married in September out of state, but I’m so glad they picked me to document their love right before the big day. :) Enjoy their photos!

My mom and dad celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on October 26th of this year. How awesome is that?! In celebration of their love, we planned a photo shoot with their motorcycle shortly before their anniversary. This was my first time using a motorcycle as a ‘prop’ and it was so fun! Well, it was mainly fun because it was my parents. ;) I am so blessed to have them as parents and I love them dearly! Thanks for all you’ve done for me, Mom & Dad. I don’t want this post to get all mushy, so I’m just going to jump right in to the photos.  One of my favorites: So sweet! I edited myself out of the clouds in the photo below. Everyone seems to love the image a lot. I love it too, but it’s really neat to see which images get the most reactions on Facebook.

Cute: Another one of my favorites: :)     Another favorite:
