Yesterday was the Clarksville Brides Wedding & Event Showcase and I had a blast! I met so many great brides (and grooms). I even held a contest; brides (or grooms) signed my guest book and they were entered to win a Free engagement session! I will announce the winner on Wednesday. :)

The show was hosted by ClarksvilleBrides.com and if you can’t tell by the title, I love ClarksvilleBrides.com! :) So, here are a few reasons why I love ClarksvilleBrides.com:

1) Brides have the opportunity to meet local vendors and gather ideas for their weddings at the bridal show, and then go online for more resources. They can reconnect with vendors they met at the show, or connect with vendors that couldn’t make it. It’s an online Bridal Show available all the time!

2) The website is updated often. Whether it’s featuring local weddings, featuring amazing wedding cakes, or featuring brides on the Brides Blog, the amazing creators behind ClarksvilleBrides.com work hard every day to showcase the best of the best to local brides.

3) Vendors have a place to meet other vendors! When a bride asks for wedding vendor recommendations, if I don’t know of someone right off the top of my head, I will be able to look ClarksvilleBrides.com or send the bride to the site. It’s a win-win for brides and grooms!

My cousin ShaRee suggested Amanda & Daniel to me, because we are all from the same hometown. Photographing this wedding in my hometown was great because I got to see a lot of former teachers at her wedding. (Amanda’s mom is a teacher. :) ) When Amanda and I went over the details of her wedding, she told me her colors were silver and UK Blue. You know I fell in love with the details of this wedding at the mention of UK Blue! :) Amanda & Daniel were married on 10-10-10. After I booked this day, I had a ton of inquiries about the awesome date. ;) The UK Blue and the awesome details only added to the great day. Here are my favorites from the day.
