Cara, Leah & Harrison – 1 year old!

Cara, Leah & Harrison turned one back in September and we met up a week after their birthday to take these images. I just love seeing their happy faces again and again in these images. What is cuter than three babies!? I’m not real sure. ;) Anyway, I’m going to keep this short and sweet today, so I hope you enjoy these images too!

Leah, Harrison & Cara Harrison loved the pumpkins, but the girls weren’t too sure about them. I love how Harrison tried to escape: It’s as if Harrison is saying, “It’s okay sissy… it’s just a pumpkin!” So sweet: The funniest moment was when Harrison decided to help Leah take off her bow:

The Last Four Years

This has nothing to do with politics.

This has everything to do with being thankful for what I have in front of me. This has everything to do with being thankful for what has happened the last four years – even the hardships.

This has everything to do with perspective.

In the last four years I have:

graduated college, married, started a business, adopted a sweet cat, laughed more than I’ve cried, lost a grandparent, traveled, danced at weddings, loved, been loved, gained friends, lost friends, gained family members, moved to Nashville, watched more reality TV than I should have, celebrated life with my favorite people in the entire world, (kind of) learned to cook, and met people who believed in my dreams.

When I look at the last four years, in relation to my small little world, I know I am abundantly blessed. I can only hope and pray that the next four years will be as meaningful and blessed as the last.

Cooper – 6 Months

I really, really, really can’t believe Cooper is almost eight months old now. At the time of this session, I couldn’t believe he was six months hold, either. I feel like every age he will turn, I will still feel like he should be that itty bitty newborn in a sweet green apple hat.

Ashley, Justin & Mr. Cooper came to visit us back in September and we used part of that visit to photograph Cooper’s six month session. What a sweetheart! And he’s so easy going. I loved every bit of our time together – as I always do. :)

Look at that hair! And his blue eyes! And his sweet smile!
