Tabitha & Bailey – A Wedding Snippet – The Tiffany Blue Necklace

While Tabitha & Bailey opted not to have a First Look, which was okay because they allotted time after the ceremony for photographs (love ’em!), they did want to do something special before the ceremony. Tabitha & Bailey decided to have Bailey fasten her wedding gift around her neck, a Tiffany Blue Pear Shaped Necklace. All while not seeing each other. I loved it so much, I just wanted to dedicate an entire post to the images. I love it when couples 1) add something special in & 2) value photography. Tabitha & Bailey shared these special moments without seeing each other and even though I’m a tad bias, I adore the outcome. Enjoy!

Brittany & Wade – Nashville Maternity Photographer

Sweet baby Ryden made his appearance last week, but a couple of months ago I met up with Brittany & Wade to photograph a few maternity photos. I love maternity sessions! It is so fun to see a couple about to enter the next phase of their lives with a new addition. :) We met on Brittany’s family’s farm and had a fun afternoon (in the sweltering heat, no less!). They were kind enough to listen to my fender-bender story that happened earlier that day, too. Between that and the weather, I was literally a hot mess that day! Love them for being so sweet!! I am so happy for them. I know Ryden has brought so much joy to their lives. Enjoy these images and a few more on the slideshow at the end. :) Have a fabulous day!

Hello August!

Wow! It’s August! I haven’t blogged in a while, so I thought today’s a good day to blog again, right? :) I photographed a wonderful wedding on Saturday, and you know I’ll have a few images posted this week from it. Here’s a simple getting ready image I’m already loving:

In middle school, a new girl sat with us at lunch and did this to one of my chicken nuggets. I’m still traumatized by it, because I hate sharing food with anyone… including Rick.

My sister and brother-in-law are building a house. You better believe the next time I see one of them with a hammer I’m saying this:

Hey, what can I say? I wanna build a house one day too, I just need to know what hammer to buy… ;)
