I blogged five times or more for 17 weeks straight… until last week. Please forgive me, faithful readers. I have been editing, editing & editing! I have a lot to post this week and next week: a group session, three engagement sessions (maybe another one… working on it now), and hopefully this past weekend’s wedding. Congratulations, Jessica & Matt! I am so happy for you two. :) Here are a few teasers from their gorgeous wedding.

Have a great day!! :)

Yesterday, instead of celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Mexican food, we ordered wings. On the ride to pick up the wings, the following conversation transpired:

Me: I love you… know what else I love?

Rick: What?

Me: I love you, and wings and Lexington and the future iPhone5.

Rick: Oh, but you don’t love me?!

(Guys really do have selective hearing. ;))

Me: No, I said YOU first. I said I love you-and-wings-and-Lexington-and-the-iPhone5.

(I said it really fast so he would catch the you part.)

Literally, five minutes later this happened:

I am very thankful for insurance, at the moment. My phone fell out of the car when I opened the door. :( Unfortunately, since the iPhone5 isn’t out yet, I have to settle for the same phone. Here’s to hoping the FOURTH phone like this will be the charm. haha! While I wait for the new one, I have to put this one on speakerphone to use it because I would rather not cut my face. ;)

And even more exciting news is that this sweet family will be making their appearance on Monday:

Just for good measure, here’s a photo of Lexington:

Have a wonderful weekend!

April 17th started off as a beautiful day. The minute I arrived at Kimberly’s parent’s house, I knew it was going to be a magnificent day. I adored the purple tulips, Kimberly’s stunning dress, and the excitement from everyone. However, my favorite site had to have been the gorgeous smile on Kimberly’s face the whole morning. She was so calm and collected, almost as if she knew, no matter what happened at the end of the day she would spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams. Photographing her getting ready was like a dream! Buddy? He was calm and collected, too! I had a blast photographing Buddy and his groomsmen right before the wedding. They were definitely not camera shy. :) Once the ceremony began, Kimberly beamed walking down the aisle. And Buddy? Buddy was so happy to finally see his bride. His future wife. His forever. It was such a special moment and I am so honored to have been a part of it. They, along with their family and friends, made us feel so very welcome. Kimberly & Buddy, you two are made for each other. You ability to laugh, dance, and sing together captivated me. Thank you for allowing me to witness the start of your forever. :)
