A couple of months ago I posted a maternity photo on Facebook of Hannah & Zac’s session with the caption “I want to have another photo shoot with horses.” A few weeks ago, I had not one but two sessions with horses in one weekend! Are my clients the best or what!? I also went to high school with Danielle and Adam, along with Shelbie & John. I remember thinking how cool Danielle was because she had a boyfriend two grades above us. ;) It’s funny how fast time goes by and what one remembers after high school. Our session was held at the same place I photographed the Dani B. Couture photo shoot. (Thank you Rachel for letting us use your family’s farm not once, but twice! You are awesome! :) ) Their session involved laughing, cuddling, throwing hay and more laughing. Oh, and horse riding! And riding a four-wheeler in the creek! Wow, we had fun that day, didn’t we, Danielle & Adam? I just adore these two. Danielle is such a fun, loving person and Adam is super laid back. He makes her laugh so much, too. Her laugh is so contagious that I often found myself having to put the camera down to laugh along with her. It was really awesome to hang out with them and to say I’m excited for their wedding in June would be an understatement. ;)

Shelbie, John and I went to the same high school. Even though John and I had classes together, and I knew he had a pretty girlfriend named Shelbie, I was never around them much as a couple. I feel like they would have been just like they were on our session: sweet, lovable, and smiley! Yes, smiley! If one smiled, the other smiled half a second later. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are very easy going, too. They humored me when I made them wish on dandelions, stand among the cows on John’s family farm, and wade in the creek. We even ended up having to herd a few cows back in their fence because they escaped while we were taking a few creek images! As I look back on this session, I feel so blessed and thankful. I am very thankful for Facebook, as it allowed us to reconnect. I’m even more thankful they asked me to photograph them during such an exciting phase in their life. :) And I feel blessed because I’m able to do what I love for people in love.

Seriously, you really can’t brush curly hair when it’s dry. It just doesn’t work. Rick said my hair looked crazy yesterday, and said I should brush it. I looked at him as if he just told me the sky was green. “Umm, you can’t brush curly hair, otherwise, it will frizz out!” I replied. Duh! :) I have to live with this crazy curly hair, and he has to live with it now, too. :)

However, I do wish I had Shelbie’s hair:

All three of these lovely ladies will be featured on Bethany Ann Photography this week. :) Yah!

Have a wonderful day!
