My blog-site hasn’t had much love from me recently. So, where have I been? I went on vacation at the end of August and then school started this week. I’ve been trying to process Smoky Mountain pictures and finish up homework from the first week done. It might not seem like a lot, but I took over 400 that weekend! And I am still practicing that “time management” skill I know I should’ve mastered by now! LOL But here are a few teasers from my uncle Steve’s 50th birthday party in the Smokies to hold you over for now. :)

Coming up next, family pictures and fun pictures from our trip!

So, that’s where I’ve been. And where am I going? Well, today I’m going shopping! And next month I have a lot of exciting adventures coming up! ;) I can’t wait!

Have a fun and safe Labor Day Weekend!

  • Thanks for your comment! We are LOVING Nashville. Such an amazing place. Love the colors of your images above.

Kim and I have been discussing a photo shoot for her family all summer long. So, when she, Austin, Dylan and Tyler finally came over last Thursday, I was so ready to photograph them! The only bummer was that my cousin Travis couldn’t make it. And if you know Travis, you know that Tyler looks exactly like him! That just means I’ll have to plan another photo shoot with all of them again, which is fine with me. I like photographing cuteness!

I think the world of Kim and I am so glad she is in my life! She has the sweetest three boys I’ve ever met. Although they would’ve much rather played with a toy weed-eater (image below), they posed for over 400 pictures! (I get a little snap-happy every now and again… okay, all the time! hehe) Austin and Dylan LOVE their little brother Tyler. It was so sweet to watch them interact with each other. I think their brotherly love definitely shows in these images. So adorable! Also, we discovered that it takes 8 people to make baby Tyler smile for a camera: Kim, Austin, Dylan, my mom, dad, sister, nephew and me! But when he smiles, it is so worth it!

I love the outfits Kim picked out for them. Blue for the boys; pink for her! And baby Tyler had hints of blue on his white shirt. Perfect! The whole afternoon involved cuteness, as I’ve mentioned before, so I am ecstatic to finally post these. As always, more will be on my FaceBook Fan Page and MySpace page soon!

Kim, Austin, Dylan, and Tyler: I had a great time with you! I can’t wait to photograph you again! I hope you love your images.

This is the weed-eater that the boys love to play with when they come over. We also used this to get a smile out of Tyler for a few photos.

I think this smile came from Austin and Dylan jumping out and yelling “Boo!” It worked like a charm.

My dad, their uncle, loves airplanes. Looking at this photo, I think we may have some more airplane lovers in the family! Sweet!
