Taylor Swift 1989 Nashville

Friday I went to the Taylor Swift 1989 concert! And, OMG, I literally DIED. I mean, LITERALLY.

Thanks to my fantastic mom we scored some AMAZING seats right by the walkway stage. We didn’t realize it until we got there, and even the security guy told us we had great seats and would see some action. And boy did we! These iPhone snaps are NOT zoomed in. She was literally right in front of us for several songs.

And, like I said, I died.

RIP me. Ahh, it was great. :)

I love everything Taylor stands for: kindness, friendship, empowerment, girl power, happiness, positivity, creativity, and FUN! I have been a fan girl for a long time, and I’m even more of a Swiftie since this concert. We went to her Red Tour a couple of years ago, and while it was fantastic, too, I think this one topped it! She’s just that great!

Okay, I have to quit gushing about T. Swift. ;) Enjoy these iPhone snaps from the concert.

Erin + Matt’s Courthouse Wedding

Erin & Matt had such a sweet wedding in front of the old courthouse downtown with her parents, an officiant, and me. The clouds threatened rain, and it poured down an hour after we parted ways, but during their wedding, not a single rain drop appeared. So grateful! Plus, the cloud cover made it possible to go anywhere around the courthouse for images since it was about 2:30 when we met.

Matt moved here in early spring and Erin moved down a few days before their wedding. I know they are so happy to be together in the same city now and, even better, married! I loved how the wedding was simple, endearing, and totally reflective of them; quiet, beautiful, and sincere. I am always inspired by truly happy couples, and Erin + Matt are the happiest! Erin just beamed the entire time. I loved it! Congratulations Erin + Matt! :) Thank you for having me capture your wedding day!

Leah + Zach’s Cool Springs House Wedding

I am so pumped to share Leah + Zach’s Wedding with you!

Not only are they extremely gracious and endearing, but they are hilarious. I can’t count how many times they made me laugh throughout the night. My second photographer and I loved every second of their wedding. When we arrived, the clouds threatened rain. They finally gave way a little bit to a few sprinkles while Leah was getting ready, but she had not a care in the world! It was her wedding day and she was going to enjoy every bit of it rain or not. :) When it was time to walk down the aisle, with no rain in sight, all eyes were on Leah. The most important eyes, though, were Zach’s. He had such a sweet expression of love. They are two peas in a pod, best friends, and a team. It’s so wonderful to watch them together!

Leah’s sister, Danielle, a former bride of mine, helped plan all the details. They were fabulous, too; the books, the succulents, the naked wedding cake, all of it! I enjoyed capturing Leah’s vision, just knowing how much dedication and consideration Leah & Danielle put into every piece of it. Ahh, okay! Enough talking! Enjoy!
