Funny and Inspiring Sayings Friday!

I love social media. I’m guessing you already knew that if you are here on my blog, though.

I enjoy when people share funny sayings or inspiring quotes on Facebook or Pinterest. Some of them are exactly what I need in that moment, and some of them are just so funny I have to share the post, too.

So, I have been saving a few of my favorites to share on here. Who knows, maybe one of you will really need to read one of these. And maybe one of you really needs a good laugh since some of these are, in my opinion, so hilarious. ;)

Last Nights Dance

Last night, before bedtime but after bath time, Graham and I danced.

He was super cuddly, and smelled great.

I softly whispered in his ear,

“We will dance like this on your wedding day.”

Then, still swaying, I thought for a moment and whispered again,

“And you will walk me down the aisle to my seat before the ceremony, too.”

Oh, the memories yet to be made. :)

The first mother-son dance that I photographed after we found out Graham was a boy. You better believe there were tears in my eyes, too. ;)

Rebekah + Brian – Couple Photography

I met Rebekah & Brian on Friday evening at the marina. We were originally supposed to meet after Erin + Matt’s Courthouse Wedding, but we were rained out. And when we first arrived, Rebekah and I both commented on how we were glad we had to move the session since the sunset was on point on this day. I seriously am in love with these images! And this couple! Is that weird? I don’t think it is, but it might be! Haha! Oh well!

They are just genuinely good people. And so easy going! And, let’s not forget, BEAUTIFUL! Yes, I had to capitalize that for more emphasis.

They are college sweethearts who have been married two years as of this past Monday. (Happy Anniversary!) They moved to the area this past spring and are still getting acquainted with the area. This was even their first time at the marina! I loved that they talked about people being nice here, because I kept thinking, “You two are just the nicest people!” ;)

We had such a nice evening capturing these images! I remember coming home and telling my husband, “I just loved them!” Haha! They were even game for some ‘darker-than-usual’ images towards the end of the session, and I adore those images with the stringed lights. See those at the bottom of this post. Oh! And one more thing that made me smile: Brian opening Rebekah’s car door for her. Ahh, swoon! I love it when Rick does that for me, and think it’s just one of the simplest, and sweetest signs of love. See guys, love doesn’t have to be big extravagant gestures; opening a car door will do in most cases. Can I get an Amen, ladies!? Amen!

Ahh, okay! I think I’ve gabbed enough! Enjoy! :)
