The day after a wedding I like to keep it simple and relax. If I didn’t drink enough water at the wedding, then sometimes I will feel like a Mack truck hit me the next day because of dehydration. I am getting better at drinking enough water, thankfully, so most of the time now, I feel pretty good after a wedding. During my first couple of years of weddings, the day after every single wedding I would feel terrible. It’s called a ‘wedding hangover’ and many photographers know what I’m talking about. It’s not fun at all. I have had one really bad ‘day after’ this year, and I hope that is it! After Leah & Zach’s wedding last Saturday, I was worried I would feel bad since I didn’t drinking a lot of water. However, I woke up Sunday and felt pretty decent. I just had a slight headache, but I think that may have been in relation to going to Wal-Mart after the wedding and staying too long in there! Haha!
So, anyway! This Sunday, after Graham took a nap, Rick suggested we take him to the marina park. It was such a nice day, too, so I’m glad we went. Graham loves to be outside. He literally claps when we head toward the door sometimes. It’s so sweet! He’s fun at this age, and only getting more fun! It was nice and warm, yet a little breezy. The main thing was it was so, so relaxing. We had fun taking a few photos, trying to get Graham to walk for us, and just laying around in the grass enjoying the fresh air. It was definitely refreshing and good for my soul. I think we need to make Park Sundays a routine event.
All he needs is a lens cap and some keys to be happy apparently:
Those CURLS! Love:
Have a great day!
