I photographed these lovelies a little over a week ago and wanted to share a little preview on this gorgeous Monday morning.
I’ve always loved the name Graham. (I’ve always loved Graham crackers, too, so maybe that’s why! ha!) Anyway, I actually liked the name for a girl or boy. I am very glad we ended up with a boy Graham! He’s so much fun and spunky! Very spunky! He’s a classic first child; independent, strong willed, and a perfectionist. Seriously, he is a perfectionist. The other day he wouldn’t stop until he screwed on the cap tightly to his veggie pouch. It was quite hilarious. It took us a long time to figure out his name. For a while, I wanted his name to be Lane. However, when I realized every time I said it, it sounded like Shane or Wayne, I decided that maybe we should look into another name. Shane and Wayne are great names; I have a cousin named Shane and a brother-in-law named Wayne. I just didn’t want any name confusion at family functions! ha! I’ve always loved city names. I had a cat named Memphis a while ago. Plus, I have a dog named Hollywood who lives at my parents. And, of course, we have our two cats now, Lexington and Murray. And, well, guess what? Graham is also a little town in Kentucky! It was perfect for us! And perfect for him: Happy Friday! CommentsYesterday afternoon, while finishing up J+C’s wedding, I made brownies. Rock hard brownies that is. It’s so, so sad when you smell all the loveliness that is brownies only to be disappointed by solid-rock-hard-can’t-eat-brownies. Oh well! I shall try again another day to make delicious melt-in-your-mouth brownies. I’m pumped that I have some pretty sweet film scans to go through today. Like this one of Julianne:
I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! So crazy, right!? Anyway, have a great day! Comments |
