At the end of last year, I photographed Ashley & Justin’s first maternity session. Click HERE to see that post. One of the main reasons I wanted to photograph Ashley & Justin again, was because of how amazing this ‘winter’ has been. Seriously, it’s been SO warm and gorgeous. We shot these on the last weekend of February and the warm weather provided a different feel than the last session. I like that they have two ‘looks’ to their maternity images. Beyond that, I am so honored to have these two as friends, and they are two of my favorite people to photograph. I know Cooper will be another favorite of mine to photograph, too. I really can’t wait to meet him VERY soon! :) And after you finish looking at this blog, please go outside and enjoy this beautiful day.

    Hello. I don’t know anyone in these photos or the photographer, but I just have to tell you that these are GORGEOUS!!! The female in this picture definitely has that “pregnant glow” about her. So, I got online last night to pay my Gap bill, and ended up spending even more money with them. Ahh, I hate when I do that. Well, actually I don’t hate it until the Gap bill comes in the mail a month later. ;) I just can’t resist their extra long jeans & super cute shirts! Rick should really never leave me alone, online, with my credit card. ;) But, my favorite item from them? Their Gap crewneck t-shirts.

I want to wear one every single day.

Other items I love? Philosophy’s Purity make-up and face wash:

Ever since my mom introduced Purity to me about a year ago, I can’t wash my face without it. I recently bought more of it after being out for a few weeks and I’m so happy again. It makes my skin feel so smooth. Total win! :)

 500 Days of Summer:

As I walked by the DVD aisle in Wal-Mart a few days ago, I saw this DVD on sale for five bucks. Seriously, this movie is so awesome, how could it only be five bucks!? I grabbed it and I can’t wait to watch it again and again. ;)

Know what else I love? MARCH MADNESS!!!! I am super excited and rooting for UK right now.

Hello, hello! I know it has been a few days, but hello!!! Here are a few iPhone photos of what I have been up to the last few days.

Last weekend started out with a BANG.

Wait, scratch that.

It actually started with a new haircut on Friday:

Then I took a few iPhone photos of Hollywood (my dog that lives at my parent’s house):

Then, the weekend started with a BANG:

Yes, somehow, in my half-asleep-half-awake slumber I tripped over Lexi on my way to the bathroom and my forehead had a battle with the towel rack. And BOY was I awake then!!! LOL I have a really hard head apparently. Just check out that dent!

So, my Saturday started at like 5:43 in the morning. That afternoon, I went shopping. So fun! I bought some new headbands and a couple of new shirts. Oh, and a pair of purple pear-shaped earrings that I love. ;) Then that night, my mom, my sister Amber and I went to Swirlz Art Studio. We are artists, for realz, y’all. Yes, I said for realzzzz. ;) Just look at all of the fun we had:

Then after a relaxing Sunday, the weekend was over. Here’s Lexi relaxing on Sunday night:

Monday, I worked ALL day in front of the computer. Lame!

But, yesterday? Yesterday was awesome! I met a ton of photographers at Jasmine Star’s TheFix. Here’s an iPhone photo of me cheesing with Jasmine Star:

She’s super nice and so smart. More on that later. :)

And today? Well, today I caught up on sleep, laundry and e-mails. I honestly can’t believe it’s almost Thursday! Oh well, bring on the weekend again! Okay, so, now I’m going to watch Survivor on my DVR and then go to sleep. I’ll be in touch again soon. Promise!
