I am not a decorator. Far from it, actually! However, I think Graham’s room turned out looking pretty good! He hasn’t had a ‘room’ of his own, ever. His crib has always been in our room. We moved when he was three weeks old, and since we were moving we never really ‘put’ his nursery at that house together. During the four months we’ve been here, his room has basically been a “catch-all” room. You know, the room you throw everything into and shut the door before guests come over? Oh, please tell me I’m not the only one who has a room like that! ;) Now that “catch-all” room has changed from Graham’s room to the guest room. Ha! It will get done eventually, right? Right.
So, back to Graham’s room. I wanted an airplane theme for a boy YEARS before he was ever thought about. I even found his crib sheets years before, too, and I was so happy Restoration Hardware still carried them when we found out Graham was a boy. :) I absolutely love his room! I love the airplane mobile, the elephant my Mamaw and Papaw bought for him before Papaw passed away, the gray glider from Toys R Us, and Graham’s tiny white rocking chair my parent’s gave him for Christmas. Enjoy a look into Graham’s room!
Before – well, actually AFTER we cleaned out all the clutter and boxes. ;)
And all the “After” images:

Murray is very relaxed in ‘his’ chair! :)
Little airplanes and the cutest airplane bookends my best friend Tiffany gave Graham:
I LOVE this airplane crib bumper from Toys R Us. It is thickly padded which is something my little head bopper needs. He was constantly banging his head on the sides of the crib before we got this one.
I bought these model airplane blueprints from a shop in Nashville called OldMadeGood. I had them mounted on foam board. I just love they turned out!
The images on the left are photos I took in August 2013 at an airshow. I had them printed as metal standout prints and I adore them! :)
Graham seeing his room for the first time! :) And I put Rick’s Teddy Bear and Graham’s Gray Kitty Cat in the little rocker.
We also put down this very brightly colored ABC mat for Graham to play on. It definitely doesn’t go with anything in the room but he loves it!
My little photo ham on his five month birthday this week:
I hope you enjoyed seeing his room! We have definitely spent a LOT of time in there the last week and a half trying to get him adjusted to sleeping in it. The no sleep thing is just a phase, right? I won’t have to rock him to sleep when he’s 14, right?! Ahh, he makes all the sleep-haze-functioning worth it though. ;)
